NHS Shared Services

We handle the transaction. You run the Trust

Managing the details so that multiple NHS Trusts can pool some of their non-clinical functions into a shared service vehicle, unlocking economies of scale, improving service delivery, and providing specialist transaction expertise to ease the process.

We are supporting our client to establish a shared service vehicle to consolidate back-office and support functions. This initiative aims to deliver economies of scale, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service delivery for participating organisations.

Our role encompasses:

  • Transaction planning and initial cost analysis.

  • Managing tax, accounting, and business case advisers.

  • Overseeing a comprehensive business case for national approval.

  • Designing governance structures and principles of collaboration.

By bringing specialist structuring and transactional expertise, we help ensure the transaction is robust, compliant, and strategically sound. Additionally, we manage the complexity of the process, freeing up the NHS teams to focus on their core responsibilities. The result is a streamlined, sustainable, and scalable shared service model that benefits all stakeholders.
